Raising money for Childline

Wednesday, 16 July 2014 20:04

Continuing with our non-profit ethos, Bowdon Business club entered 3 teams into the `Great Big Quizzical Event` on Thursday, to help raise money for the charity Childline.

The Quiz, 6pm until late, at Stockport Grammar School was an ideal opportunity to raise money for charity, have some fun, and have a chance to network with other local businesses and business clubs.

The event was organised by Ben Poland and Chelsea Maher in conjunction with Clarke Nicklin Accountants. One of our members Michelle Hay, was also involved in the organisation of the evening and ensured there was a good representation from Bowdon Business club!

Steve Allen – Steve Allen Insurance
Ian Cartwright - Caramel Photography
Jo Forrest – Utility Warehouse
Michelle Hay - Michelle Hay Training
Stuart Jamieson - CFI Ltd
Andy Key - Maskew Cordon Limited
Rory McVean - DEP Landscape Architecture Limited
Mark Slater - Wilson Fink

The top three winning teams were announced and we are pleased to assume we came 4, 5 and 6th!

We look forward to hearing how much was raised in total and will keep you informed.
